Dust bath for babies

So when do you allow the babies to have their first bath?

A few whenever they start jumping in with mom. Usually a few days after birth

I give mom a dust bath 10 days after giving birth. Sometime the babies will jump in and some just watch mom and learn.

When Luna had the twins I waited to give them a bath when mommy got a bath. 10 days after giving birth.

Right away with mom. I try to wait a few days, but if they look miserable I give them one. Clean dust of course.

Really? That's funny, all of my babies show absolutely no interest in dusting until 2-3 weeks old. I let them stay with mom when she bathes but they just look at her like she's nuts and go about their business! Maybe I'm breeding "slow" chinchillas lol
