Dried white vaginal 'secretion'

A 1 y/o female was surrendered to us and I found a dried white substance around her vaginal opening. The vagina is also slightly 'gaping' open and I can see a white 'coating', not pus, further in. She has not been around another chin since she was weaned but had interspecies contact with dog/cat. She has a vet appointment this afternoon.

We just finished a pyometra case and this doesn't seem the same. Any suggestions?

Diagnosis is a bladder infection. Bactrim for a week and recheck.
