I got my mail today and normally don't look at the Fosters and Smith magazine. But this time I was forced to look at it ;) Tricky advertising!

too cute!

But still wouldn't make me buy from them. I prefer to buy from ethical businesses who care about their pets like members here and on my bird forum :)

i get my hay from them because it ships directly from Oxbow and even Oxbow recommends them. all other items i either prepare myself or purchase from here.

How cute! I once got a catalog from them with a BV on the cover.

I've bought some stuff from them in the past, like way long ago, before I made my own stuff and bought it from people on here. They're ok, but they're still on the same level as a pet store - don't care about whether it's safe or not, they carry it regardless. And that wooden ledge - while the right idea - looks to me like plywood. It's not THAT hard to get wood chin supplies right, I mean heck, we can do it, other suppliers can do it - how do all these companies screw it up with bad products?

I actually buy my oxbow chin food from a local small pet store. I hate the way they treat their small animals, but the oxbow food is $16 for a ten pound bag. It's $15 for five pounds at my local petsmart. If I ordered online it would be even more expensive to pay shipping.

I have bought hay from them in the past but I wouldn't normally shop there. I do read the catalogs though to look at the cute animals. I wonder if they get union wages for posing?

Cute cover! I'd look at it. haha

And that chinnie isn't greasy looking like many chins you see on products, etc.

No kidding. It's nice to see a good looking chin for once. I got in one of those blue cloud dust bath containers with one of the rescues.... omg the chin on there looks like it hasn't had a dust bath in weeks!

How ironic.
