Greedo is on Wellness Indoor Health and Innova Low Fat. Ever since the complete switch over his poos have been really soft. Could his diet be too rich? What could I add to make his poos good and firm?

How quickly did you change his diet? The Innova should be fine, however I have heard reports of the Wellness causing issues with some... However I have also seen plenty of people report feeding it with no issue.

My recommendation would be to get some acidolphilus from your local health food store, and add a hefty sprinkle to his food daily for the next few days. You can also pull the Wellness to see if his GI improves after a few days as well. Limit all other snacks/treats to determine the nature of the GI upset. Limiting will also help settle his GI. If you don't see improvement or it gets worse, then schedule a veterinary visit and take a fresh stool sample in with you to have it examined.

how soft are you talking? are you talking like diarreah soft almost runny like or just soft? hedgehogs poop should not be extremely hard, they should be somewhat soft just not too soft if that makes any sense lol. basically it shouldn't be so soft that you can't easily pick it up in one try, but it also shouldn't be hard that could be indication of dehydration or something else going on.

Well I eliminated the Wellness from his diet and his poops firmed up a bit and started to look better. So after a week or so to let his stomach settle I'll get another brand of food to mix in with his Innova.
