Critcal Care/Probiotics?

Hi just a quick question- where do I get critical care and probiotics? I would like to keep the stuff on hand just in case but I'm not sure where to get it from. Also how long does each last for? As far as I understand the critical care is if they stop eating but what are probiotics for?

Critical care, you can get from a vet that specializes in chins or you can order it from the Oxbow website. Probiotics, you can get from the pharmacy at WalMart or any natural food store. Just make sure you get the 10 billion count or higher, as the higher the count the better they are for your chin.

Some vets do sell the critical care but it's at higher mark up price also you can't purchase the cc from the oxbow website, they will just give you retailers who sell it. I agree that you should get it from menagerie from Wee Companions. :thumbsup:

No, you can't and you never could, not without a vets recommendation. In fact, you can't order anything off the Oxbow site anymore. They only go through retailers now. Got a bit big for their britches apparently. So now if you want anything, you have to pay double and even triple what you used to.

Okay thanks so much for all your guys help- I'll definitly be ordering from menagerie from Wee Companions on the next paycheck and out to get some probiotics.

*embarrassed bush* Thanks for the info, Tunes! The person I got the info from has not bought anything off the site in a while, so she did not know that they had changed. This is what happens when I do not think to make sure the advice I give is correct. I will make sure to pass this on to her as well.

If for some reason Menagerie is out of critical care you can also order it from lambertvetsupply.com. They carry both the original and apple banana in the 5oz and 1 lb resealable bags. Shipping is by price and wasn't bad at all.

That is where I ordered mine. At the time I didn't know that Menagerie. So if for some reason Menagerie out of stock you could also order from where I did. But if not at least ordering from Menagerie helps the rescue.
