My hedgie normajean is about 3 years old. I'm really concerned about her and I am wondering if anyone has idea on what could be wrong with her.
As of two days ago she completely stopped eating her regular food (Hedgehog pellets and dried mealworms). I wasn't that concerned about the pellets, but there hasn't been a day that I've had her that she left a single meal worm in sight. Her not eating her meal worms sent up a red flag.
Along with that she hasn't been running or pooping. She has urinated once, but hasn't had a bowel movement in at least two days. I got her some super worms last night which she did eat. I wanted to get food in her system any way that I could.
She also is having little sniffles. I'm not really sure if they are sniffles or that she is having issues swallowing.
Aside from these problems, she's acting very normal when I take her out of her cage. She runs around like normal.
If anyone has any idea I would greatly appreciate it. There is an afterhours small animal vet that I can go to all weekend, so that is an option. I'm just trying to avoid it due to lack of funds, but I will definitely go if need be.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
