Combing

I would like to hear anyones insight on which combs I should use on my Chinchilla It seems that for regular grooming most are using #4 followed up with #3 or #2 for fine grooming as for shows and such.

I really just need a basic grooming tool for now, is the #4 the best suited for my needs?

Eventually I may purchase more combs, should that affect my decision?

For just a basic grooming, I use a #3 comb. There's really no sense in purchasing all the different combs unless you are showing your chin. All of mine are pets, so when I notice their fur getting a little rough or something I just use the #3 comb on them.
