As I mentioned before I have 4 cages with 2 females and 1 male. The females were weaned together so they knew each other well before I added the male. However now I have taken one of the females out of a colony because I don't like the results of that breeding. Is it possible to add a different female to this colony which now has just 1 female and 1 male?? (of course with a proper introduction). I would use the cage within a cage procedure. Has anyone done this with good/bad results??

I have a male that is regularly in a colony with anywhere from three to five females. Only a couple of the females are ever the same and I haven't had problems. Some of the females have even reared kits in the colony with no problems.
