I was wondering if some chins are clumsy by nature and to different degrees. My standard (petsmart) baby is speedy and agile, never falls or misses ledges. My white vc and mosaic vc (breeder) Luvbugs are sisters and seem ver clumsy. They miss ledges and don't move as fast as Gizmo. They are all 16 to 18 months old and we have had Gizmo for 13 months and Sterling and Micah for 9 months. Just curious and afraid of injury. Could hitting a shelf cause teeth issues? Thanks...:hmm:

My Charlie (petshop chin) is super fast and will attemp any jump (he'll jump straight up to get on something). He's my little daredevil, and he is very agile! Inca (pedigree chin) is very reserved and careful when it comes to jumping and running. I've always thought he was just more laid back. During playtime Charlie jumps from the floor to the toilet to the sink. Inca has to go from the floor to the garbage can to the toilet, he doesnt even attemp the sink! I've always thought of them like kids...all individuals!

Flea is clumsy. I rearranged his shelves so that he has more jumps over a shorter height because he would try ridiculous jumps. He still tries them, and still misses, but usually takes the easy road (and still misses sometimes).

Dragon runs into things all the time , even when he knows they are there. He also spends about a quarter of his playtime every day crouching down looking as if he is about to jump up to the window, he shuffles around and looks really indecisive about it, tries to jump sometimes and always fails. I had to put a fleece blanket in that spot to soften his fall because he can never fully make the jump (A good thing, since he is not meant to be up there in the first place)
