Clipping whiskers

How do you do the clipping whiskers and vanilla (extract) introduction method?

The whiskers method was the way my boys got along. I clipped both of them back about an inch with scissors. Just make sure you don't poke their eyes. Just hold them and clip, easy as pie. Continue playtimes as normal and normal introduction process I never used the extract method, but I'm guessing just take a bit of it on your finger and poke each of their noses..

You clip the whiskers of the aggressive chinchilla. This tends to disorient them enough to let them get to know the new chinchilla.They are usually trimmed just an inch or so. The Vanilla extract is just a small drop under their nose so as they cannot smell the difference between their scent(what is theirs, as in their possessions or territory) and the new chinchillas scent.

There is no garentee that any method will work.

I have only ever heard of using vanilla in conjunction with the smoosh method. Is that what you are trying to do?

You can use vanilla any time you do an intro. If I use it, I put it just above the nose and around the base of the tail lightly to mask the new chin odors.
