How toxic is citrus to a hedgehog?
Mine licked my finger and he didn't like it AT ALL.
Is it in frequent to occasional dose or could just a lick harm him?

A little lick is not likely to hurt him. I wouldn't let him try to lick it again in the future though.

The general thought is that citrus isn't good for them because it is too acidic. The concern here is that it could cause mouth ulcerations and upset stomach. Plus hedgehogs do not tend to be overly fond of it.
