I jsut put my chin back in his cage form playing, and i notice his one finger is a little bit covered in blood. And hes clearly favoring that hand. I looked at him but cant see any injury but with his dark fur its hard to see anyway.
Vets office is closed today, and i have no way to get their anyway. Is their anything i can do for him in the meantime?

put him somewhere where he cant be very active then first thing tomorow morn. get him to the vet a.s.a.p.!!!!

You can clean his foot with a bit of peroxide and see if there is a wound. That will also help heal it up. If there isn't a wound of some type check his other feet. Also if there is a cut the peroxide will help clean it out so you can see if there is something like a sliver in it. I don't suggest putting any ointment or salve on it until you can see what actually happened. Usually if it's just a little owie they heal up just fine without having to go to the vet. Just keep a close eye on it to see if it starts swelling or he continues to favor it.

Good luck!

i cleaned it as best i could. Trying to hold on to a six week old kit, while doing that is not an easy task.
I wasnt able to see any big wound on his finger. (finger next to pinky) It looks like he might of nicked the top of it. Even mommy chin and brother chin are being extra good to him. Daddy chin (lives in seperate cage with another son) is going crazy as well.
Hes favoring the paw and mouthing it, but hes still able to get around. Hes just not in great sipirits, obvoiusly. Was the msot hes ever stayed still for me ever.

A six week old kit should not be out for playtime. They are not weaned from their mothers yet and should not have time out of the cage. Blu Kote is a good thing to have on hand for finger injuries. You can find it at tractor supply places or feed stores.

It cleared up enough for me to get a better look at it. Looks like he tore some skin on the top of his finger. It looks like a small circular wound. His still favoring it, but hes still moving about.

did you put blue kote on the wound? if it is superficial and there is no bones exposed, you can put a little blu kote on it to aid in healing.
i would wait another day for dust to make sure it is healing.
