I thought I'd share a little info about my 4 chinchillas and share a few pictures. I got in the habit of calling chinchillas critters vs. chinnies mainly because Fritter rhymes with critters.

Up first is Apple Fritter, Fritter for short, a beige male almost 6 years old with major attitude when it comes to sharing and playtime.

Up next is Muffy the Muffin, Muffy for short, a standard gray female about 5-6 years old. Muffy loves to snuggle in her cuddle cup.

Last are Marshmallow and Jellybean, Marshy for Short and Jelly for short. Marshy is beige and Jelly is a standard gray, both 6 and 1/2 years old. Marshy loves to use Jelly as a pillow.

Bahaha! the chicken hat looks cute, as small as it is.. I think Susan gave me a birthday card with one of your chins on it :) It's being used as a bookmark. I smile every time I open my textbooks..... Everyone in class looks at me weird, but that's ok, they understand. I wish my boys would sit still and not try to eat stuff I put with them for pictures... oh well. Cute babies!

Adorable chinnies! My Lily is also a brat when it comes to sharing things. Have you discovered anything that helps? We've just given up on putting the dust and toys out during group play time =(

I have not discovered anything that works. I gave up as well and realized that Fritter doesn't play well with others.

awwww cute!! I too also like that little chicken hat! Did you make it yourself?

Fritter, What a cute name!!!!

No. I didn't make the hat. I did have to modify it a little in the back so it would fit him. Here is a better photo of him :)

ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*sigh* I really have a weird thing where I think it's really cute to see animals dressed up as other animals or things...

Oh my goodness those pics are SO cute! You definitely have camera talent but I'm sure your subjects have something to do with it. :angel2:

:hilarious: Oh my gosh!! That chin really looks like he is enjoying that hat. I have one girl here that would allow me to try that. And I also have one male that would rip that hat to bits in 9 seconds flat. Thanks for the pictures. I'm sitting here chuckling like crazy over the chicken hat.
