Chinchillas favourite wood??

Hey guys,

My friend is a tree surgeon, and was just wandering if there is a certain type of wood that a chinchilla would prefer?
Also is there any to stay well away from??
Obviously know that you don't give any chemically treated wood to chinchillas!!!

I have a Jacob's Ladder hanging toy from Whimsy & he chewed the first two "rungs" up first, which are supposed to be apple & crabapple. He seems to like pretty much all wood though, as long as it's in stick form. He's not a big fan of coins since he mostly likes the bark.

Tucker loved Cholla.
Kiwi is a huge hit here.

I get a lot of orders for apple, pear, willow and cottonwood. Wondering who chins will like my new wood Madrona?

Wally loves Willow. I have tried several different kinds, and he always goes for the willow first!

Lola loves Dogwood branches and raspberry twigs. Apple & pear are another favorite but she loves the bark and thin twigs. She's not fond of the coins.
