hi everyone, my chinchilla has really flaky ears and his nose is really red looking all the time from what i think is a lack of hair there(the red nose thing is on and off and right now its not so bad.) anyways i looked online and people seemed to be saying it was a fungal infection and the flaky ears and the red nose were linked and all i needed to do was mix a tiny bit of athletes foot powder into his dust.
now here's the next problem. he wouldn't roll round in the the new dust mixture (i only put in half a teaspoon of the athletes foot powder.) and now he refuses to take a dust bath at all and this has been going on for 2 weeks.
what should i do?? i'm really scared for him.
help would be really appreciated, thanks so much everyone.
