I've been asked to share some sad news, and I do so with a heavy heart.

Many of you are familliar with Simply Chintastic. Sadly, Linda, co-founder of SC, has passed away after a 3 year battle with breast cancer.

She leaves behind her husband, Dan, and son, Kevin.

Linda adopted many chinchillas over the years and was a very loving and funny lady. I'll definitely miss her humor and quick wit.

Rest in peace, Linda, you will be missed. :angel6:

I personally did not know Linda, but I'm sorry for the loss of what sounds to be a wonderful and beautiful person, inside and out. I feel for her family that has suffered a great loss.

My last communication with her was just a few months ago. She was very sweet. I'm so sorry she suffered for so long. When I read about her passing, I cried. Her and Dan's products were a piece of art and I actually asked Bill if he could help me save a few pieces that the chins ruined because I did not want to throw them out.

Linda was the best! I will miss our talks about chins and our beloved cats.

What a friend the Bridge babies will have! Love you Linda!!

I'm so sorry to hear this, and my heart goes out to all her family and friends. Even being new to this community, I appreciated the wonderful items Linda and Dan crafted for chin lovers.

I just saw the news in FB and rushed over here. She will be missed. Their "play cubes" are a playtime fave here... after I got back from vacation and let my boys out for thier first play time in a week, I didn't have time to set up the cubes... Boy did Bugs let me know how miffed he was, he kept trying to move them to where he likes them.

I'm so sad that I'll never email with her again or see her posts again - she always had the nicest things to say.

My condolences goes out to her family. I've ordered items from her store in the past and always marveled how well put together and amazing her products were. She will be missed greatly.
