Chinchilla Burrito/hair ring checks

OK, so I can't seem to get the burrito to work for Bryson. I had to do a hair ring check on Ande yesterday and I wrapped him in the burrito and he didn't move, allowing me to pull a huge piece of hair off of his nether regions. He's a breeze to do the checks to. Bryson, on the other hand, is too smart for the burrito. He knows how to get out of it, so I can't do a check on him.

Any other tips on how to perform a check on him? I don't have an extra pair of hands in the house, so it would have to be something just I can do on my own. Thanks

A lot of people just do it by raising the butt in the air. Hold him by the tail, raise him in the air with his genitals facing you, and do a one handed check. It takes some practice, but once you get the hang of it it's really pretty quick and easy.
