chinchilla attack

one of our aggressive chinchillas bit one of our females threw the cage wires. its nothing major but its a bite mark and did draw blood is there anything i need to do like cleaning it or anything to keep it from infection??? like i said ITS NOTHING SERIOUS but id still like to see if there is something i need to do

Is it still bleeding? If it's on the nose just make sure it didn't go deep enough to go through the nasal passage.

Do you have blu-kote on hand? This is perfect to put on small wounds to prevent infections.

no i dont have any of that on hand, should i just clean it off with a damp rag?? its not on the nasal passage its just her lip. you can see the top and bottom bite

I would just keep an eye on it for infection. It will most likely be fine without anything.
