chinchilla and baby

As I sit here typing this I am watching Chi-chi ( chinchilla ) and Anthony (19 mo old baby ) play with each other. It is SO funny.( don't worry she is safe ) Chi-chi is in her cage. She is on the top shelf and the baby will stick his finger in the cage. She licks his finger and runs to the bottom of the cage. Anthony then will bend down to look at her. She stays there until he finally sits down. When he sits down he sticks his finger in the cage and she will lick it again and run to the top. He then will stand up and stick his finger in the cage to be licked again. And again she will run to the bottom. So far they have done this at least a good 20 times. Its so funny. I don't know who is training who or maybe they are playing tag. Any ways its too funny :laughitup:

our chins love our kids too. scamper actually chases them through the house. its so funny.. and my 12 month old hangs out beside the cage all day. chins are awesome pets for toddlers! simply because they couldnt catch them if they were trying their hardest!
