I have two chins and till about a month ago eevrything was fine. Recently one of my chins seems as though they are allergic to there dust for baths. She will go up to the dust bath as normal but then when she buts head inside sneezies and then goes away form the dust bath and dosent take her bath. I have tried putting dust in a simple cat litter box see if this dose better for her but she will go in it dig around and sneeze alot, again not taking her bath. I have never had this issue with her before and the other takes baths as normal. I currently use blue cloud dust for them both. So i was woundering, 1) is it possible for them to become allergic to there dust? 2) what should i do as her coat is gross as she wont take a bath recently.:hmm:

Maybe you can try sprinkling the dust on her? Just to get her clean. If she will let you pet her try to gently work it in. This way she won't get as much dust in her nose or face and hopefully will not be irritated by it.

As for why she won't dust, I have no idea. I haven't heard of any chins with allergies to their dust but I don't know if it's possible or not.
