Chin supplies?

I'm going to be re-doing Scout's cage (possibly with an entirely new cage) in a few weeks. Anyone have any good recommendations for toys and things to put in the cage that would be fun for her? I really have only been buying the same stuff from the local pet stores and there's not very many options there. I'd just like to get her a nicer setup and am not sure where to start... )

If you look in the thread titled Ferret Nation Club, you'll see tons of ideas for your cage. Most pet owners generally have a hammock or 2 (or 3), a wheel or saucer, a tube with a fleece cover, hanging toys, wood shelves, wood bridges, etc.

Check the classified section under chin supplies for sale. I'm sure you'll find a much better selection, and a safer one, than at the pet store.

Does Scout have a tube? I've never met a chinchilla who didn't love tubes. How about a cuddle buddy or a cuddle pillow? My one chin could care less about pillows/buddies, but my other one loves to sit on pillows, especially while eating hay/a stick.

My favorite websites for toys and cage accessories are www.qualitymutationchinchillas.com and www.camphorchins.com . Simply Chintastic has really great stuff: excellent shelves, hidey houses, etc, but it takes awhile to get your order. Sounds like Scout is going to have a Merry Christmas!
