Hello. This may not be a right question to ask on this forum, but I have a question. Can I feedchinchilla pellets to rabbits? Are chin pellets and rabbit food almost same? :hmm: The pic below is my brand new bunny, btw.:bump1:

I'm not sure about chinchilla pellets for rabbits, but chins eat Purina Advanced Nutrition which is a rabbit pellet. Perhaps you could switch your chins over to that and all of them could eat it.

Also, I'm not sure if you're familiar, but bunnies can carry pastuerella so they should be kept separate.

Cute bunny! I don't know if chin food is ok for bunnies. Try PANR, like Alli said. I have on bunny on Oxbow Basic T and my newest bunny on PANR which she was raised on. A lot of people sell PANR in the classified section for $1 a pound. Good luck with your new lil bunny! If you have any bunny questions, PM me, I would be glad to help! ;)

I have customers that feed chinchilla pellets to their rabbit and they say that the rabbit does better on that than the cheap pellets that they buy at the petstore. I'm not sure that I would do it if I had rabbits, but I think it is possible to feed rabbit pellets to chins.
