Hey all,

I noticed my chin lost some chunks of hair in the last 2 days. (including a big patch on her cheeck wich i found hanging to a ledge probably from jumping around)
It could be me but her fur seems rather mat (is that a even a word?)
If it goes on for a few more days i'm seeing a vet.

Sending pic's tomorrow

How often does she bathe, and in what kind of dust?
Is the fur just matted around the face, or various locations?

Sorry a bit late.
Can't spot any ... spots?
only the one on her cheek

As for sand: every day once. (she rolls once or twice and that's it)

From the pictures, I think it looks fine. May be the spots just doesnt show up on the picture??
But the fur lost can be due to priming. Like my chin, once last year and now, she is loosing fur much more than usual. But it is like loose threads of fur sticking up from random places of her body. you dont need to worry unless it is loosing a patch of fur until you see the pink skin. Dont worry~

You're saying sand - should be dust!
Kaytee is like sand - too coarse, and can cut fur- order some blue cloud or blue sparkle from the 'supplies for sale' section and save some money!
Maybe that's why she only rolls a few times!

Rickman - Sand is no option really.....Over here it doesn't exist. Stevie is in Belguim.

I am trying to get a few lb's from the US sent to me. Shipping alone for a few lbs would be 40$ +/-, so I am going with the cheaper shipping rate, less dust but i'll mix it with my sand.
