So, I went to let my chins run in the bathroom, while I was changing the cage, and my sister forgot to put the toilet seat down when she was done, and Boo got wet. What do I do?!

Use a blow dryer on the cool, low setting and try to dry him off. Make sure he keeps warm, but not too warm.

I'm sorry, I don't know much, but I hope this helps.

Dry her off with the blow drier and count yourself lucky she didn't drown. It has happened.

Make sure she's dried all the way down to the skin. It's going to take a long while if her fur is at all thick and you need to be patient.

Also, watch the chin for a few days for respiratory symptoms, this happened to a member of the group I belong to and the chin aspirated the toilet water and got pneumonia.

I dried him off, and I'm very glad that he didn't drown, he only got his back half and a little on his nose wet... I was so scared for him

You should never leave chins that are outside of their cage unsupervised, not even for a second. That includes small rooms like the bathroom.

When I first got my chins I was told that if they got wet they would have a heart attack and die. LOL - amazing how many myths there are out there. These are originally outdoor animals and they got wet all the time.

Just keep an eye on him but from the sounds of it he will be okay. Stuff happens to even the best of us and those chins are so fast it's hard sometimes to keep track of them.

Good luck!
