I am so excited, tomorrow I am going to try making gingerbread cookies in the shape of chins! I have icing and sugar buttons for the details and eyes but am looking for a good outline to use since obviously I couldnt find a chin cookie cutter at the shops :p Sadly, the closest thing to a chin was a T-Rex cutter!

If anyone has a link to a good simple chin sketch I would appreciate it heaps!

Good luck!!! I actually got chinchilla shaped cookie cutters on Etsy, and they became quite popular on there at one point :D

I have the cookie cutter from Shoots, and made these last year. Half are gingerbread, half are sugar cookie. I was thinking about making more this year....

I have the Shoots cookie cutter too but Mish, yours look amazing!
Mine came out looking like giant blobs :(...

Mish your cookies look great! Yumm!
I just made some christmas cookies as well :)) but they're not chins

Ohhh, love the festive chins Mish! They look so yummy.

It might be too late for me to order the cutter from Shoots so I´m working on one of my own as more of a stencil, had to postpone cookie making due to classes being hectic. I´ll be sure to post photos of my efforts when they are done.

Mish is my new best friend! :)

Definitely post pictures of your chinnie cookies. I really should order that cookie cutter, I would use it pretty much all the time. Do you think it's large enough to make chinnie shaped biscuits? :D (You know, southern buttermilk biscuits...)

Susan, at its widest points, the cutter is 4 inches long and 3 inches high. With biscuits which rise quite a bit, you'll probably lose a lot of the detail as they puff up.

Thanks for the comments, everyone. I've made up my mind, I'm going to make more this weekend. =)
