Chewing on Chin Spin

hmm... I haven't had the wood chewing problem with my chinspin, though my chin has chewed a bit of the powder coating off of the wheel itself (not good!). I hope your chin finds something else more entertaining than chewing the wheel. I know whenever there is something new in the cage, my chin likes to give it a small nibble or two.

My chins do this with their chin spin too. I have mine at the bottom of my QC mansion. Even at the lowest I can put the wheel without no longer being being to pull out the tray, they somehow crawl under there and chew on the back of the wood. Theres really nothing you can do about it, its wood and they will chew it. I try to give them a lot of other chewing options to distract them so they dont do it much. Ive also seen them chew on the metal.
