Ok, so I did it. 12 chinnies in a carton of eggs. I had to have 3 of my kids help with the photoshoot.

And not to be a killjoy, but I hope that the eggs were boiled (and the carton somehow sterilized)... there's a reason we're not supposed to eat raw eggs, and most of the Salmonella is actually on the shell, not inside the egg itself - the contamination happens when the egg is cracked open. Keep a close eye on these kids for any signs of diarrhea or illness. Dunno how affected chins might be to Salmonella-induced disease, but horses can be pretty darn sensitive, and the gut is similar...

Just adorable! Now I am going to have to really out do myself with the ebony triplets! Haha. I feel like I am popping popcorn when I take pictures with a bunch of kits. Grab a bouncing kit- try to sneak a quick a picture, take baby off the other babies head, try to snap a picture, pick up some poop, try to snap a picture, grab the escape artist baby, and you get the point! And, I take my pictures alone, my husband usually just laughs and tells me that I am torturing them! I told him to wait until we have human babies...

RCR- where are the adorable pictures of your human babies? We know you have them!

Haha, I know when I do it I make sure to only grab a few standards of the same sex, like a pair of female standard twins and a pair of male standard twins, and then mutations are much easier to tell apart. I also just know all my chins very well, it's a mother thing I think!
