West Seattle Mounted Police have my old horse. Thought that was pretty cool! I got a call from a friend. Charlie is on TV! I know they have one black and white overo so I said she got it wrong. Then I saw him!

He has a better job than I do!! Though with budget costs they could be at a loss here soon He doesn't look so so great but good. I just wonder why with a slight toe in, club foot he is on concrete for a living. I know we had shoes, pads, and wedges on him.. But to each their own I guess. :/

if i was in your shoes, i'd contact them and let them know he needs shoes and wedges for his club foot. if it's severe enough, going barefoot could lead to tendon strain and bowed ligaments, especially with the pounding they do on concrete all the time.

In the clips they have online that he's in. His feet actually look pretty good. I'm interested in contacting them because if the Mayor does cut the mounted police I want to be first in line for Charlie!

Most mounted forces keep their horses shoed.

I doubt he isn't shod. There is a clip of him walked solo down the street and he looks straight, and not too long. Its more noticable when he hasn't been trimmed. To the untrained eye. You'd never know he had it anyways.
