Cantaloupe seeds?

I know that seeds in general should be given in small amounts but I just dried some cantaloupe seeds for my gerbils and I was wondering if my chins could gave a few.

Chins should not have seeds at all, not even in a small amount. Seeds are too high in fat, looking it up cantaloupe seeds are 40-45% fat.
