Well ive had my first chin for around a month now, she is just amazing and loves to interact with me and my sister already, however I think she would be real happy with another chin around. However ive heard sometimes two chins will never become friends no matter how long they spend with each other. I believe the breeder where i got her from still has her sister but i don't know for sure. What do you guys think?

I love having my 2 girls :)
You have to be careful tho when introducing another chin. Depending on the chin it could go well, or not so well.
Also, she may not be as 'into you' when another chin comes around. They'll bond with each other. But I really don't think that's a big deal. I'm sure she'll still love you lots. :))
I'm not sure what I would recommend, but I do like having 2. I know for sure that they won't get lonely.

I had this debate for like 6 months before. theres a few things to think about though. But the main reason I decide to get another chin was that I did want Tum Tum to have another friend, which somehow turned out to be his half brother since I got him from the same breeder. lol

It is true that in some cases that chins may never bond. So if your thinking about a new chin, you need to consider many things such has the time, the cost to tend for another chin, and the possibility of additional costs if the chins do not bond as you hope them too. After reviewing and researching, I decided to take a chance knowing what the worst case scenario was. The bonding itself takes time and patience. But luckily it worked out so well. Now my 2 boys always sleep together. Its just too cute!

if you spend time to at least interact daily with your chin, im sure it won't get bored. Tum Tum was just fine since he had alot of toys and I always interacted with him daily. But since i began working full time, I wanted him to at least have someone around. He seems very happy. They both do! =D good luck on deciding. It takes some thought. Best case is that your new chin will love the existing chin. Worst case is that they will need to be in 2 separate cages. =)

good luck!

I love having two chins, they really seem to appreciate eachother´s company and every morning I find them either snuggled up on top of their sleeping cube or stacked ontop of eachother, it´s so cute. It´s awesome watching them play together and interract and Silver gets very chatty if I leave him out but put Dragon away, they are very close .

If you are prepared to have two seperate cages if things happen to go wrong, then I say got for it.

I had one boy and brought 2 litter mates home as 3 month olds. For a while eveyone got along fine... but then Mouse and Monkey turned on Bugs. So Bugs lives on his own ad his brother, Monkey, is bonded with Mouse, my first chin. Bugs who loves along seems to be the cloests to me. all I can say is that 2 get along, one is a loner and being related has nothing to do with who gets along with whome.

I am happy I already had them in a FN cage, so seperating them was really easy as soon as I noticed fighting.
