Can my chins get the swine flu?

I know, I sound ridiculous. I'm obssessing. Long story short. My sister went away to a church camp that she stayed in dorms and people came from all over the world. Turns out that the week before her camp was, they had a swine flu issue. And now she aches every where! And my throat hurts so bad today! It's probably just strep. I'm just worried about my animals. And it's late and I can't sleep, so I'll probably wake up tommorow and be like "oh my gosh, I'm so dumb!" I sleep with my chins in my room so I'm just wondering for there safety. Sorry for my stupidity and if this has been posted before. I suppose I should have looked.

Actually, this doesn't sound stupid at all...makes me wonder as well...
I'm doubting it, but you never know.

There is a post about a couple that had the swine flu and their chins were sick as well...no one would take them to the vet for them. I hope that worked out...

i think you are just being cautious. first get yourself taken care of and then the pets.

I'm not sure about the swine flu but strep is something that could be passed on to a chinchilla.
