I'm trying to locate (possibly several of each) stores that carry the following items:

Jump holes/covers
metal feeders
cage card holders
cage latches (spring as well as hook types)
metal pans

As it seems I cannot locate the type of runs I'm looking for I may resort to building them...I have a few stores already in mind but like to shop around so even if someone covers one item don't hesitate to post a different link for the same item!

I need roughly 12-16 of each so for you all who may have this sort of stuff layin around!

Klubertanz and Martinscages is where I get my pans, latches, etc.

I get my latches, springs and c-rings from Martins.
Wire and card holders from Klubertanz.

I haven't priced shopped recently, but those are the places I found them cheapest.

Thanks! I knew about Klubertanz...and their prices aren't bad :) I just like to price shop to be sure I'm getting the best deal!

On the subject, does anyone know who all makes runs? I know Ryerson and Custom Cages...but anyone else?

Klubertanz will ship using freight, ask about having that instead of UPS. I have them ship right into a trucking terminal and it saves so much on shipping if I have enough to ship in all at once.

There were a lot of places I could send you to for runs and things a few years back, but the ones I used (besides Klubertanz and maybe KW Cage) went out of business. I'm not even sure who still would make runs for you.

Yeah, I need wire with wire divides (or metal) and pull out pans...I'm thinking I'm gonna have to build them myself :( I can do it, it's not a matter of ability...it's a matter of motivation LOL! that and I hate how tore up my hands get...can't stand using work gloves so I suppose it IS my own fault...if you all think of someone let me know...for either parts or whole runs

I think Klubertanz has some all wire rabbit cages that you can order dividers for or get units that are already divided. Divider material is your choice. They will make cages to your specifications and ship them unassembled. The stacking cages have wire bottoms but I'm sure you could have them made to be the way you want. I've ordered cages and cage supplies from them a number of times and found them to be a good company.

You would have to order wire sections to make runs. The run could easily hang off the back of the cage units. They'll cut the metal for you.

That's good to know, because that's the main issue. I don't have a big expensive cutter...I have scissor type handheld wire cutters :)

Have you invested in a electric wire cutter yet? Well worth the money, I could actually make more than one cage in a day, no more blisters or aching hands! Plus the edges don't wear down after one cut like the manual wire cutters.
This is the one I got: http://www.tools-plus.com/kett-kd200.html?utm_medium=feed&utm_source=froogle&utm_term=KETKD200

I love it to death! And to me, since I broke my dominant wrist, it paid for itself after making one cage.

Ange I know shoots was making runs, and I believe they were slightly cheaper then what I've found by other people...however since selling the herd I don't know if they are doing supplies/cages anymore.

I have not been able to find the runs Dave has used. I love my runs from dave, but it looks like i'll be replacing them with runs from Ryersons as well. Almost all my pans are shot, and some of the wire is giving way now too... I think it's time to retire them :(.
