Here is the progression of my sweet girl's cage.

The first picture is of me getting the three cages stacked. The second picture is of new shelves. I took everyone's advice and installed the new shelves so she cannot catch her legs and get hurt.

In the third picture you can see that I still have to add some small shelves or lava ledges in a few places to cover wires. I am also going to move the tilted shelf to the back wall to lead up to smaller shelves so she can scoot up to them and have another perching area.

Please feel free to tell me how the set up looks.

Lenora had a blast exploring. The 2 PVC tubes are from Camphorchins. :) Lenora loves her Flying Saucer wheel and the metal hay bin is working out. Much less hay wasted.

Her cage looks great. That close up is too funny. She looks like all she wants to do is come out and play.

That's a beautiful cage set up, she look's like she's having a blast in there. That last one is hilarious! She's like, look at ME, MOM! If you don't let me out, I'll huff, and I'll puff, and I'll blow the cage down!

Thank you all for enjoying my Lenora. She is hilarious and is keeping me on my toes for sure. Makes me laugh all the time.

Nice cage.

Are they just the tops of other cages hooked onto one base? I have an extra cage top (same type of cage) where the base was busted. (donated to the rescue) you got me thinking I may be able to use it to enlarge one of my cages! :)

Yes, three tops on one bottom. I have one more stand and one cage. Thinking of doing second set up for 2nd chin next year. If they bonded i could combine both. I used a bolt cutter to remove tops of bottom 2 cages and wired them together.

The cage looks great! I'm wondering what the dimensions are because it looks like you have plenty of room for the flying saucer. I am thinking of switching out my chin spin for a saucer. The chin spin is so heavy and Yumi runs so hard, it has broken the welding on one side of her cage. We have a feisty ferret cage, so there should be enough room for a flying saucer...just wondering about the weight of it.

Hi Ziora, the cage is very appox. 36" tall, 25 inches wide and 17' deep. The flying saucer left about 4" in front of it. The wheel itself is not heavy. The bracket is solid steel about 1/2" in diameter. There is not much more than her house, the flying saucer and a ChinChiller stone in the bottom. Her food dish is almost under the saucer.

Misshellyshel, the shelves are from Quality Cage. The big ones are 24" and the other two are ramps. I used one as a shallow shelf over the Flying Saucer. The little shelves are Sleepin Ledges. I will be addind a few Leap N Ledges and a few more Sleepin Ledges over the weekend.

Everything looks really nice. Having wood shelves in there makes such a big difference and your Lenora is a very pretty puff ball.

Great cage! Isn't it funny that we put so much time and effort into their cage, but all they want is out time?
