Buying a house!

I'm actually more north in Ridgecrest. It's a nice desert up here, lol.

Oh! Laurie! It can get to about 15 degrees at night in the winter. During the summer it doesn't usually go below 50 at night. To me...if it's under 40 I'm dying and need heat. Tyson's always making fun of me for piling on layers and layers of blankets.

Thanks everyone! Apparently I am buying curtains on Wed. First I was told to do the curtains because he wants no part of it...so I tell him the colors and he goes "that's going to look weird...have you SEEN any houses with those colors??" Needless to say...someone thinks he's abused now and quickly changed his opinion to "Well I don't REALLY care about the colors...whatever makes you happy!"

The kitchen is going to have dark charcoal grey counters, darkly stained wood cabinets and stainless steel appliances with dark blue curtains. The bonus room is going to have burgundy lazy boy chairs...that are freaking awesome! It'll also have burgundy curtains and we've got this really awesome pud style dining set that is black and dark brown. We're going to change up the bar(the gold veins gotta go, sorry Mish!) and make it all fancy and more usable for us.

Ty's dad is also extremely excited. He called us today and I could hear him yelling over the phone with excitement "You just call me when you can get in there! I'll drive on over there and I've got tools! I've got LOTS of tools!!!" Then he started listing tools, lol.

We moved today! I don't have internet access at the house yet...it's still at the apartment until Friday, stupid cable company! Anyhow, we got almost everything at the new house now! My parents drove 150 miles up here just to help us out and they are staying the night. We are all insanely sore and moaning and groaning from all the heavy lifting(mostly my dad and Ty, lol). The chins are waiting on water though so I can't be at the apartment long. We possibly have a RO system in that house though...so may be switching the chins from a Pur filter to RO! Anyhow...I have lots of pictures from the moving and we've got a few curtains up that I'll also take pictures of. You should SEE the looks I got from the chins in the car! If looks could kill they'd all be happy about now, rofl.
