I just received a bunny because she wasn't getting along w her cagemate and the other bunny bit off a good portion of the bunny i now haves ear! i have had a bunny in so long! What is your guys opinion on the best food for them? I use oxbow for my chinchillas is the formula for rabbits good too? Shes on Purina One Rabbit Chow now.

I'd go with one of the new Purina Show formulas, Purina Fibre3, Manna Pro Sho, or Nutrena rabbit pellet. Those are all good rabbit pellets you can also feed to chins, so it kills two birds with one stone, so to speak.

I wouldn't feed one of the show feeds to a pet rabbit, personally. The show feeds are pretty high in fat and can make a pet obese. Purina makes a very good maintenance diet for pet rabbits; it's called Purina Rabbit Chow (it comes in a green bag). It has essentially the same ingredients as the show and production feeds, but the rations are different, with lower fat (for example). Nutrena, PenPals and Oxbow also make good rabbit feeds. If you decide to feed a show feed to a pet rabbit, make sure that you carefully ration the feed and give the rabbit plenty of exercise to help avoid obesity.

Hes actually one the purina rabbit chow now. I was under the impression it wasnt that great of a food, but if its good i'll keep him on that.
