I just got Chuck last Thursday and he has been doing great! Although this morning I noticed something on his tail, which is white on the end half. There was a brownish color that looked like it dried a few clumps of hair together. I had just given him a bath yesterday and he was completely fine and clean. So after work I decided to give him another bath to see what it would do and nothing happened. I proceeded to hold him while my mom gently wiped off the residue with a luke warm moist paper towel very gently, then dried it with a dry paper towel. It didn't bother Chuck too much besides the fact he is scared to be held. It looks fine now and he isn't acting up at all I was just curious to know of anyone has seen this before or knows why it happened or what he sat in? His droppings have been dry so I am very confused.
