Brought Mischki home tonight!!

Just got my new chinchilla girl, almost 5 mo old Mischki tonight!

She was very subdued at first, but she has been exploring her cage for the past half hour to hour.

I'll try and get some pictures tomorrow!

Congratulations! Mischki is a beautiful name, where did you get the name from? I'm sure you are very excited, and yes we all would like to see pics of your chinnie.

I got the name partly from some author's last name. I work at a library, and I was walking through the shelves of books, and glanced down and saw something like "Minschki" as someone's last name. So I modified it!

I'm gonna post pics tomorrow, including one or two to make sure she's actually a girl!

She's already nibbling on my hand, and exploring her cage even though I'm sitting right next to it. k
