Breed back babies Z2 & Z3

My bv female Dyamond and standard male Apollo had a baby bv female kit on 02/08/10. In the last month I thought she had a breed back and she did. She had 2 babies born yesterday morning 1st one at 8:55. I had to leave at 9:30 am so I didn't know if she was finished with having them or not. I couldn't tell if the sex or color it was still wet. I got last home night she had 2 bv I believe a boy 56 grs and a girl 54 grs. This morning I went to checked on them and to weigh them. Now I am not sure if it's 2 girls. They are with their sister Blackjack that was born on 02/08. Blackjack now weighs 446 grs. These 2 will be named Joker and Jackpot.

Pictures will follow sometime this afternoon. Oh yes, I did pull the father out yesterday before she gave birth.

Well you've been lucky in the BV jackpot! Maybe it's the names that bring the luck. If I were breeding I would end up with all standards all the time. It's just the way my luck works.

This was their 1st breed back. They have been together for about 3 yrs and only had 1 litter a year. I was just surprised that this happened because they always stayed together.

I hope to show all 3 this year. I am not sure what I am going to do with the boy yet. You know that I usually keep all my babies. I really need to do some down sizing.

No, it's a good thing. There's a lot of breeders here in CA who don't keep any of their chins... they just breed to sell and add to the pet population without any regard for quality, etc. Nan has super nice animals and yet... they are never available.

Well, hey, if you ever do decide to sell Joker or Jackpot, I would definitely be interested. I'd really like to see how they grow out though.
