I've been researching chinchillas and looking through many posts on this forum for a few weeks now so I thought I'd introduce my self after I brought home my first boy chinchilla who I named Marty just over a week ago on Good Friday.
A little bit about myself, I live in Christchurch New Zealand and I'm an engineering student at Canterbury University. I've been in Christchurch for 3 and a half years now and have become very used to the earthquakes as has Marty who doesn't seem to mind the smaller shakes while he's out during playtime or just chilling in his cage. He's now 14 weeks old and growing fast!
He's a little cranky in the attached picture. I'd just put him back in his cage after his play time.
