So I got my chin about a week ago. My question is, is it safe for him to play in cardboard boxes? he isnt much of a chewer at all. Hasnt chewed on cords or anything yet. I do watch him closely though. I have a few boxes that I put together and he seems to love them. I just want to know if its ok for him.

my guys loves boxes. i have to watch the taped ones though. some of my little stinkers always seem to find the one spot that is taped.

I was wondering the same thing. Is it actually safe for them to chew on the cardboard, and possibly swallow some?

i made Rhino a new chin clubhouse out of a nice size box last night and he loves it! 3 doors, 2 windows, and a sky light, lol.

as others have mentioned, tape isn't good to have on boxes, and never use staples to hold boxes together since chins can easily get curious about the staples and try to eat them.

I made a box for my chin, and I cute one hole in two of the sides and put a fleece blanket on the bottom. I don't have him yet, but I have a hunch he's going to love it! :)

How do you attach boxes to make little ins and outs and play areas if you can't use tape or staples? I mean, what do you use?
