Scoobie's urn is on the left with the pictures in it. Sakura is in the Samoyed urn to the right.

I'm sorry if this is a bit morbid. I brought Scoobie's ashes home yesterday. He was only part of my family family for nine days, but we loved him very much. It didn't seem right not to bring him home. He spent his last days and hours in my arms.

Next to him in the Samoyed urn is my dog of 13 years, Sakura:

I'm in tears as I write this. It doesn't seem real that any of my babies are gone.

It's mostly symbolic, but I wanted to bring them home with me, where they belong.

I'm sorry you lost those two beautiful babies. That Samoyed urn is one of the most beautiful urns i've ever seen. I don't blame you one bit wanting them home where they belong. We did this with our dog Jewel who passed two years ago. It feels better having her in the house, I'm sure we'll do this with all of pets.
I also completely understanding wanting to bring him home even if you had him for nine days, once an animal is a pet and part of the family, time doesn't matter. They are both beautiful, as well as the urns, they are a nice shrine to them and nice way to remember them and hopefully feel a little more comforted with them being home.
