For all you book lovers out there, have you ever heard of the website paperbackswap.com? It's a wonderful site where you post your post books and whenever a member requests one from you you get a credit. You then use that credit to request a book of your own. The only thing you pay for is the shipping of the book that was requested from you (it usually runs from $2-$3). The cool part is you get 2 free credits just from signing up and posting 10 books. You can post all kinds of books such as recipe books, hard backs, text books, novels, graphic novels, kids books, whatever you want! Just thought fellow book lovers would like to share in the fun.

How did I not know about this? I want to sign up now and add all my books, but I am at work so I don't remember what all I have. :p

I can't believe I didn't notice this either! I am excited to sign up!

I've been a member for quite a while, but have never used it. My problem is, I don't like giving my books up. I will read, re-read, and re-re-read good books, so they are like family. I don't know if I can stand to swap them out. My other problem is that I have a black thumb when it comes to printers. You have to have a working printer to take advantage of the service, and I can never keep one running!

I got my first book request and will be mailing it out Monday. Yay! Now just to figure out what I want to get. Choices, choices.

I use my home address for everything. I don't like the idea of a book with the company return address getting lost/marked undeliverable because then I'm out of a book and the requester is out of a trading credit. If I use my address, I know it's correct and the book will come back to me if there's a problem, so I can resend or relist it. :)

I meant a P.O. box like the ones you can rent from the post office to have people send you books instead of giving the stranger your name and home address.

ohhhh! I started something like this at work, we trade books because I read through everything I can, but get picked on since I am still a teen and dont mind reading popular books like twilight or evermore. I might start doing this too to get new ones faster!
