Well we found out what Snickers died of, as it has now hit Bonner with all the same symptoms. However, Snickers went so quick. He showed nothing til the day before he died.

Bonner went to the vet yesterday. He is eating, drinking, pooping and peeing. He is on Baytril .17 2 times a day. The vet also told me to give him echinecia drops in water 3 drops 2 times a day. He seems to be responding well. He hasn't lost his appetite. The vet says he is fat LOL. Says he is a big Boy. Hmmmm he weighed 824 before he got sick. Now he is 795g.

Never really thought of him as "Big" Anyway, I just hope he makes it. I got critical care just in case he stops eating.

I let him out to run around last night and he had a good ol time. Figured the excercise would help get that crap out of his lungs,

If you're using Baytril, be sure to use some type of probiotic, especially if it's oral, just to try and help keep the gut in balance.

I'm glad you were able to catch Bonner before it went bad. Hopefully he'll make a full and speedy recovery.

If the congestion gets worse ask the vet about a nebulizer or ask family or friends if they have one you can borrow, really helps loosen things up.

well hes had 3 doses of Baytril, about to get his 4th at 6pm He got up after his meds and ran on his wheel, he has not done this since New Years Day. His congestion is a bit better, not sneezing so much. Still eating, drinking, pooping and peeing.

Actually came to the cage door for a treat from my hubby, he has not done this in a week either.
