Does anyone know of any places/people that board chins around Albany, NY/Upstate NY?
This won't be soon, but i'm looking into it far ahead of our vacay next year. My father is going to be looking after our other pets, but I'm nervous about him looking after the chins, he likes them, but doesn't live with me so is hardly ever around them, and was skiddish when he petted Eeyore when he suddenly moved lol. I'm good at making a list of things to do and such and know he would probably be able to feed them etc....but I'd feel a little better if they were with someone who was much more use to Chins etc...
It's not a definate but I'm looking into the idea and will also ask my vet next time I go.

Also, I'm assuming most people bring their cages to the place they are leaving them, but just wanted to know if thats usually what happens?

I actually do boarding here, but I am in Rochester, about 3 hours away. But would be happy to help if the distance doesnt bother you.

I usually request anything the chin is used to, to be brought with them so the change isn't as stressful.

Thanks, I probably wouldn't do that long of a distance. I guess I should of said the Capital Region instead of Upstate NY lol. But if worse comes to worse, I'd just have to leave good instructions for my father. I'm just worried since he doesn't pick them up, if something happened where he had to or if they escaped when he was turning to get something even for a split second.

lol, yea I don't blame you at all. Its kind of a hike to do boarding, but didn't know exactly how far you were.
Its funny because Im so used to hearing how Rochester is "upstate" but its because my friends from college always said so....and they are from NYC, so anything north of them is technically upstate, hahaha :)

Thats why I should of said the Capital Region instead of Upstate, since upstate spans across the whole state in most cases lol.
