Anyone know how to get Blue Kote out of carpet? My stupid self used it in the living room and it dripped onto my carpet. I can't seem to find a way to get it out. Any advice/ suggestions would be apprecaited.

Another thought too, I keep typing "how to get ink stain out of carpet" into Google. Would it even be considered like an ink stain or something else?

Thanks.

Rubbing alcohol will take it off some surfaces, and might be worth a try on the carpet, because not much else works with that stuff. Pour on some alcohol, blot, and repeat.

Anyone know if nail polish remover works? I've heard it works on skin so maybe other surfaces too? But I've never had a stain so I've never tried it.

You must have ESP, because I was going to post this exact question! I got Blue Kote on my hands, fingers and pants last night while applying to one of my piggies and I found that dish washing liquid works well on stained hands. You could also try some peroxide or Oxyclean on the carpet stain. They both work well for ink stains.

Thanks for all the advice guys! I'm not sure which one/combination worked because I think I tried about everything under the sun.. except for the nail polish remover- I'll have to remember that next time. I used hairspray (found that Google) rubbing alcohol, vinegar/water, oxyclean and a tooth brush and after an hour of scrubbing at it it finally came out! I can't lie though I did have to cut some of the super dark pieces out of the carpet, you can't see it though.

Glad to hear it worked AND that you have come up with a new way to get stains out of carpet! If all else fails, use everything! ;)
