Blue Cloud VS Blue Sparkle?

I have noticed a layer of sand on top of my Blue Cloud (before I use it). If I shake it and let it all settle, I can just scrape it off. Who knows, maybe it encounters some moisture on the way or it's not sealed properly?

Chloe came with Kaytee dust which was sparkly and it was pretty annoying that everytime I touched it I was covered in sparkles and it ultimately got all over me, so that's why when I switched I forwent the Blue Sparkle. But now I am curious if it's better.

OP--I think you're fine either way.

I use blue sparkle most of the time and it is always soft. I use blue cloud only when I am preparing a chin for show. Blue cloud is way too expensive

I use bleu cloude all the time, I just don't like the sparkle that BS leaves on my chins.
But then again as Kristy said. it is a matter of preference.

I think I remember reading on here a long time ago that Kaytee dust actually is Blue Sparkle. Anyone know?

I usually use both blue cloud and blue sparkle, mixed. I found the blue cloud to be a bit heavier of a dust that really got down into the chins' fur. Where as the sparkle is a lighter dust that did a better job on the top portion of the coat. So for me the mixture has worked well b/c I found with really densely furred animals the bs wasn't getting down into the fur but using just the bc with those same animals made the dust get stuck in the fur.

Kate--yea I had read that here too, but I'm not sure how one would go about proving that so I'm assuming it's just people's opinions.

Cheryl--that's a good idea. Does is cut down on the sparkle?
