So who went shopping today? What did you get?!?

Me, my mom, sister, and sister in law went. My sister in law (I helped her) got the Shark Steam Mop and some other random stuff.

I got some dvds while they were on sell. Can't beat $1.96, lol. All the games were gone quickly =(

Most importantly (The main reason we went) we got a 50" tv for my Daddy! Man is he gonna be shocked. We arne't even keeping it at our house...hehe

I've been up for over 24 hours :/

I totally stay away from black Friday shopping, lol. I'm not a crowd person. I've heard about some awfully good deals, though.

But even if I was interested today, I am totally sick and not leaving the house. But hopefully those of you who are crazy enough to get up way too early and brave enough to fight the crowds, got a lot of great deals to make it worth the effort!

Get up early?!? Some of us never even went to bed, lol. We were there at like 9:30pm-10pm for the sales that started at midnight. lol

Mom had to get in line for a bracelet at midnight then she got it at 2am, then got to pay for the tv at 5am and pick it up. lol That was an experience. We laid the seats in my SIL's car down and it still wouldn't fit in her car. it wouldn't fit in her car with no one in it and all seats taken out. lol They made us go get a truck. lol Plus we had to buy a tarp and tie downs so it didnt get wet cause it was raining/snowing!

Black Friday sounds a bit stressful but I know I would loveeeeeeeeee to attend, ha! Looking forward to hear what you guys got etc.! Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving..

I went! I went to JoAnns, and when they show how much I saved with my coupons and sale prices, I saved $260! :D

I also went to Toys R Us, Herbergers (which was crazy) and Fleet Farm and got my husband a under the car creeper thing that turns into a rolly chair for an extra $11 off.

So I was happy.

I didn't get up early either though, I just went at 9.

If there was a Joanne's up here...I would have been there raiding the fleece aisles, lol! Instead, I did some shopping for fleece on Joanne's website. Same prices, just had to pay a little extra for shipping.

Hubby and I slept in and went over to Khols around 10am - spent $201 but saved $293!!!! I was so shocked. And my 15% off pass is good all weekend and I got $30 in Khols cash :D We got everyone we were buying for (familywise) except each other because we went together lol so we have to do that later - think Im going to go back out in a few and see if there is anything left before everyone gets off work!

Until 8 tonight Staples, where I work, is offering 40% off of office supplies (pens, organization, markers/crayons, etc.), 40% off lap top accessories like cases and cooling mats, and 30% off all regularly priced furniture.

So, I picked up $35 of gourmet chocolate (Godiva and Ghiradeli) as stocking stuffers for under $20. :) Other than Tim Horton's for breakfast, though, I didn't go anywhere else. I was too busy running around the store like a headless chicken from 5:30-4:30.

I am on my gift, a new laptop! Before all we had was a 4 year old desktop. Got some clothes, small appliances and electric blankets for everybody. I wish I had had more money to spend. It was fun, the people were great.

Nice shopping everyone!! I did most of mine online I was surprised to see a lot of the door busters available online too! I didn't go to bed until 6am this morning lol. Shopping is better than a gallon of coffee apparently.

I did on line shopping, too. I bought several rooms of furniture for the doll house I got my granddaughter last Christmas. My daughter and I were going to go shopping early Friday morning but we chickened out.

I went! I camped out at Best Buy from 11 pm Thursday night to 5 am when they opened the doors. Got a Samsung 32" LCD tv that's originally "$450 for $328. Yay!

I didn't go early but I bought a DSi XL for myself (I love to play handheld games....) and a ton of fleece for the chins and to make blankets for babies in my family. That's about it. *sigh*

I bought some stuff online...nothing too exciting. I bought some fleece for chinnie hammocks from Hancock (found a code online for free shipping...then $2.99/yard for the fleece). I also bought some new fabric scissors and supplies for a book I'm making for my nephew from JoAnnes (also free shipping with good sales prices).

I did go out on Friday morning, but not to shop. The dogs and I went to pick up my sister from work...she works at Target. I'm glad I wasn't there to shop...the whole strip mall parking lot was packed with people and cars all over the place (snow covered the lines so everyone made up their own parking spots and did not do a very good job at it either).

I don't venture into the city after 9:30 pm on thanksgiving because of the black friday crazies. Heard about too many people arrested and too many people trampled for it to be worth it to me. I will look online for deals, but I don't go to stores. It is too ridiculous when you have to have police at Toys-r-us because people go mob mentality. It is not what Christmas is about.

Hubby, me and hubby's friend went, hit Toys R Us at 10, my husband and friend jumped in line with another friend of ours who was in line while I parked, and I was happy to wait outside, but hubby forgot the credit card, so the guard let me in. They were letting 50 people in at a time and it was crazy but not too bad. I was in line to check out by 10:30 and had everything on my list in my cart, waited two hours to pay which was the worst I think. Made good friends with the people behind me, they had no kids and were buying for nieces and nephews. They were pretty funny. Hubby went to walmart around 11 to see what was going on there, and people had already tore the plastic off the boxes for the midnight stuff so most of it was gone, which was disappointing since we wanted some of the stuff there. I was going to wait until 5 for one thing and decided to take my chances and try to get it later on. Sent my hubby to get food in the meantime to tide us over and nothing was open except one lone burger king, so he came back and we got some food on the food side while I finished reading a short story of Stephen King's book I grabbed. Ended up at Best buy at 4 and stood in line at 4:30 in the cold and snow and got a few movies there, then hit Meijer and got a few games for the kids. I enjoy it but we are in a smaller area so it usually isn't too rowdy or anything.

@cremellomare, I'm in a small area as well so its not to bad. Sounds like you guys did pretty good. Me and my sister in law enjoyed watching people go crazy, lol. There was people calling their bank accounts at the checkout, lmao.
We made it through the lines about 4 times, lol. We grab a thing or 2 and go checkout. Start walking around while mom was waiting for the tv and find something else we wanted. lol

We couldn't hardly find anything open to eat at either.
