best toys?

Satin has enjoyed a plastic dump truck into which I place mealies. She gets all fierce hunting her favorite bugs.
Try either lightweight plastic or those disposable paper bowls... you don't want your hedgie to get trapped. Satin's played under those too. Haven't tried with Tex... probably should, eh?
For a short time, she'd play with a small cat toy shaped like a mouse. Then she just used it as a... erm... bathroom accessory. It was one poopy mouse. Think small cat toy or mini beanie baby size... without plastic stuff like buttons or eyes that they might bite off and swallow.
Tex seems to enjoy a y-shaped PVC tube to run through at night. Never seen him use it during the day, but there's plenty of "evidence" to document his night time activities. You could substitute other tubes like oatmeal containers - build a tube, a cave, or go crazy building a maze
