I've been looking around but can't get a straight answer. I am wondering what age a chin should be before you breed her?

Thanks

Most breeders wait until they are about a year old, so they have had enough time to assess their quality, and/or have them shown. Females need to be a good enough size (I think the unwritten min. is about 600g?)

Many breeders put them in at 8 months especially Black velvets who are noriously slow breeders. and by 8 months you should know the quality, by then for sure.
