I bred my Lowe Recessive White male to two Goldbar females that were loaned to me. One littered in February, the other littered in March right before MCBA nationals. Three kits were produced, all were gold. I just weaned the first female a week ago. I've already submitted an article to both MCBA and ECBC, just waiting for it to print.

After 8yrs I'll stick to my "basic" mutes thank you very much. But this type of thread and info, for anyone regardless of what they're breeding, is very valuable. I'm glad to see so many breeders (good breeders) working on the up and coming mutations such as the Recessive whites/goldbars/blue diamonds. It's going to be done regardless of who works with them so I'm glad it is people who know what they're doing that are ACTUALLY working on them.

The only rare mutation that I'd actually consider dedicating efforts to are the California recessive whites, and it seems they're kept out of the mainstream market and "hush hush" which I personally think is idiotic. What's better, one good breeder working to improve a new mutation or several good breeders? I've always been one to share and enjoy shared chin information.

With that all said, congrats to you saphire and Mish as well, hope to see some information and pics in the future on these mutations!

Excelente! I look forward to reading it!
